- Βιολογία των εμβρυικών και ενήλικων νευροβλαστικών κυττάρων.
- Δομή και λειτουργία κυτταρογεννητικών περιοχών (stem cell niches) του ενηλίκου εγκεφάλου (εξωκυττάρια ουσία, αιμοφόρα αγγεία, επενδυματικά κύτταρα).
- Γήρανση, ισχαιμικός εγκεφαλικός τραυματισμος, παθήσεις της μυελίνης.
